As an art student, I developed a fascination for porcelain – the whitest and most translucent of clays. This was the focus of my work for many years, often in combination with light.
I grew up and studied in the UK but have lived in Norway for many years. With one foot in each country, I have always been interested in landscape and how this affects our sense of identity. This is reflected in much of my work in ceramics and printmaking. Other projects have grown out of my ongoing interest in the natural environment, on both macro and micro levels.
